Measurement: Volume and Capacity

video
Today we have been exploring volume and capacity in LH2.  We pretended we were throwing a party, and did lots of fun activities like finding the right sized bowl for our jelly, choosing cups that would be a good shape and size and designing lolly baskets!  Take a look at the clip above to see us in action.

  1. Wow LH2
It certainly looks like you have been having fun . I can see all the learning that you have been doing. What a great way to learn about volume and capacity.
How many lollies would fit into your baskets?

  2. Wow,

We were great at measuring of how much ml were going to fit in the cups, lollie baskets, the bowl and the 3D shapes. I like it when we have been learning about volume because that is a new thing that I learned.
